YWC86 - Still runnin
The YWC86 was cut from the most recent book when a very reliable source said the job was being abolished in a couple months. Well, that never happened, so I'm putting it here. It may still be abolished soon, but for now, here it is.
YWC86 Old Colton Job Mon-Fri
(maybe Sun)
(On duty 0700 –on the move about
an hour later. Vans to where power was left, which can be Griffith Wheel, Old
Colton, or Riverside Avenue. Old schedule was MWF switched ConAgra at Ice Deck
and TuTh swtiched Old Colton, but there seems to be some flexibility here.
Switches the transload facility at Griffin Wheel any day they have work,
running past the wig-wag and street running on 9th Street about
0930. Can stuff or pull windmill cars off the stub of the old Riverside Lead at
the Santa Ana River. Drops pulls, if they have any, at CP Sierra. Leaves power
at Riverside Avenue for YWC80.)

Santa Fe Los Angeles Freight Station
First correction of the new book. The Los Angeles Santa Fe freight station is only half there. The building on the east side of Santa Fe Avenue has been razed and replaced with new apartments. The building on the west side of Santa Fe Avenue remains and is now the Southern California Institure of Architecture - SCI-Arc.
